The Business of Ghosts and Ghost Hunting! My First Ghost Hunt - The Case of Mrs. T and Her Haunting by Alexandra Holzer

My belief is that maybe if it is something not pure and meant to cause harm. If there is a reason for this behavior it may not be known to the person. That's where I came in and one night wouldn't be adequate to answer all the questions. The initial investigation involved the known facts, impressions, and information thus leading to a second meeting: a meeting with the medium in tow.
Aside from the feeling of being watched that Mrs. T would have occasionally - mainly in her kitchen area. The day before I showed up she had two more stories to add to the pot.
One evening, Mrs. T and her first granddaughter, the baby at the time the toys started reacting on their own, were sitting at the dinning room table. Suddenly her granddaughter age four at the time froze in her chair as she became fixated with something in the living room. The open space from the dinning room allows one to see everything. There, in the corner by a chair, were two ghosts peering right back at her. "Momma, momma" she said as she quickly tapped on Mrs. T to look. She pointed to the area she saw the two ghosts. Mrs. T not happy about what was happening tried to calm her granddaughter and explain that everything was OK and to come sit by her. Seconds later, the granddaughter complained of buzzing noises right around her ears and face. What she said next frightened Mrs. T enough to cause her to get up and take the child back downstairs to her family. Days later, Mrs. T had a conversation with her granddaughter where the child told her more about what she saw. The child said it was two boys and they were flying around her playing. But it scared her because she was very young and did not understand what was happening. This prompted her to call me to come over and try and discover what was happening.
Then, her son experienced other occurrences. He was not a disbeliever but was not prone to imagine paranormal and hauntings. He was upstairs in the open living room when something caught his eye. As he was drawn to look down the long, thin-mirrored corridor, a black shaped shadow floated and disappeared into a bedroom. That was enough for him and the rest of the family.
Mrs. T had also been complaining about her electrical devices in the house. Her phones never seemed to work, and her computer would work some days but not on others. She switched telephone carriers three times with costly changeovers. But her phones still didn't work! A representative of one of the carriers I use was actually passing her house one day and saw one of the cable men in her doorway. He agreed to test her system and after checking out her system was baffled as to what could be the cause.
Ray, my medium shows up and we are about to begin. Standing in the middle of her living room, immediately Ray and I do a walk about to try and feel for energy and temperature changes. We are moved to go to the entranceway where a cold spot is felt.
The air conditioning was not on because as I had mentioned earlier, it was a pretty cool night and even the windows were closed. Candles were lit all about and not flickering much. Of course, angels greeted us in the entrance as they lined up against a shelf on the wall adjacent to us. Ray asked for me to put my hand up in a certain spot and when I did, I become a bit dizzy. Must have been the wine the night before, I joked. But, it really did feel as if I was being pulled into this concentrated area and couldn't move. But, of course I could. We both felt it could be a portal that allows many different spirits to move about in. However, could a haunting coexist along an active portal? Could it be possible that one had nothing to do with the other?
I moved us back upstairs and continued the walk about checking one room after the other until we came upon Mrs. T's office. It was very, very cold and emitted a feeling of being uninviting. Ray asked us to place angels in the room, as we would revisit them later. Of course, Mrs. T had a doll up high on a shelf with an antique look and those doll eyes. It was a gift to her from her mother but Ray and I thought we had seen too many horror films and asked to move it please. Then, I went into the bedroom and knew which side was Mrs. T's as I stood there trying to feel something. Nothing horrible struck me until I reentered the room with her son's wife later on. She and I were in the room when a yellowish light flew past my head and vanished. Ok, that never happened to me before and I can't explain it. I can surmise that it could have been part of the paranormal activity surrounding the family but without any proof, would be hard to show.
