If that is the case, then such travelers would probably have much less overt aggression in their make up and/or behavior than we do. For those who correctly say that there could indeed be highly aggressive races, then all that we can say in response is that none of them have apparently showed up here as yet. Considering the level of technological accomplishment that they would have, and the kind of weapons that they would have at their disposal, if such a race had indeed arrived here and was intent on either attacking or subjugating us, they would have done so at the earliest possible time so that we weren't ever more advanced with our own weaponry. And they wouldn't need to surreptitiously pick up individual citizens here and there, for decades, and tinker around with them in a way that would effectively warn the population of their presence, which is certainly a most counterproductive means of attempting to conquer a planet.
Taking just these few ideas under consideration, we would have to ask ourselves why a supposedly advanced, space-traveling, (and necessarily longer lived) race would want to come to our warlike planet with highly aggressive people, whose life spans are extremely short, with numerous degenerative and/or incurable diseases…in order to take and utilize the obviously inferior genetic material (as is widely posited in many abduction scenarios)!
They should also ask themselves just why they believe all the stories about dying races that need to interact with us because they lack, or have genetically removed, something comparable to our emotional traits. Just exactly what is so wonderful about the demonstrably imbalanced emotional reality on this planet that some presumed extraterrestrial race just has to incorporate it into their genetics - while instilling the highly negative emotion of fear in earth people, and the abductees specifically, in the process?
A logical consideration of these and other factors reveals very flawed, fearful and egocentric thinking. So one has to wonder just how, where and why people have come to the conclusion that evil extraterrestrials are behind this phenomenon.
Some people will offer the argument that extraterrestrial implants have been found and recovered from people. The obvious question is how do you know that the objects discovered and removed were necessarily deliberately implanted by extraterrestrials…and not by terrestrial military operatives?
As far as the argument that hypnotic regression has established this to be true, there is too much credible professional counter opinion about the accuracy and usefulness of hypnotic regression to enter that matter into the discussion.
Of course, a substantial industry has arisen over the suffering of certain people - and the delusions of others - that reaches into the book publishing and other commercial fields.
I think that for people to therefore proceed with the unsubstantiated and demonstrably illogical premise, that abductions are being carried out by extraterrestrials, is doing at least two unfortunate things. One, it perpetuates a false story that serves to both obscure the truth and to help further the aims of the actual (terrestrial) perpetrators. Two, it does a disservice to those people who have actually had such invasive, violating experiences, which only causes them further fear and misdirects their anger towards imaginary perpetrators instead of the actual ones.
