Chemtrails and Black Triangles: Commonalities by Regan Lee

Then there’s the issue of human subjects. Experimental aircraft flying above the heads of the local civilians is illegal, certainly unethical, as is spraying who knows what over our heads. Yet both occur; in the case of chemtrails, virtually daily.
Richard Dolan on the Black Triangles
Richard Dolan, author of UFOs and the National Security State wrote a piece on the triangle mystery in 2003: What Are the Triangles? Dolan points out the history of denial from official sources, in spite of the fact they have been seen all over the world. As to the issue of air space, Dolan writes:
Still, the Belgian government asked the U.S. government whether or not, in effect, these triangles were American. The U.S. Air Force informed the Belgian Air Force and Ministry of Defense that "no USAF stealth aircraft were operating" during the period in question. Now, this could be seen as merely a carefully worded statement. No "stealth" aircraft -- might this allow the overflight of an aircraft that is not, technically speaking, stealth? After all, the triangle over Belgium was tracked at least some of the time on radar. As far as this statement is concerned, it could simply mean that a non-stealth but highly advanced U.S. aircraft was responsible. [9]
If so, then we have a disturbing conclusion regarding how the U.S. Air Force treats its NATO allies. With the advent of Gulf War II, this may not surprise too many people. But in 1990, there was still a Soviet Union, and the vestige of a cold war. At the least, it seems neither polite nor intelligent to treat your NATO allies in such a manner.
That last point of Dolan’s is important: whether it’s the U.S. or someone else, to say that behaving in such a cavalier manner is irresponsible is an understatement.
Someone somewhere knows something about these triangles. It’s possible, as Dolan suggests, there is a shadow government responsible for the triangles. Or at least partially responsible:
think it’s likely that there are secret, terrestrial, triangles out there. But it also looks to me that some, and perhaps most, of the triangles are "not ours," that is, alien of some sort. In my own view, since I think this is true of the UFO phenomenon in general, it is not especially difficult to see it as true of the triangles.
What we can say for now is that there is no explanation yet offered to the public that brings all these triangles down to earth. There is a large body of evidence that continues to elude conventional explanation. The triangles do not all appear to be "ours."
While Dolan didn’t emphasize the word “all” he could have. As in:
“The triangles do not all appear to be “ours.”
This is what makes the triangles truly Fortean: just when you think you have it figured out, that surely they must be “ours,” there’s enough weirdness to suggest something more . . . something other.
Colin Bennett on Chemtrails
Another writer of Fortean things, Colin Bennett, in Chemtrails: A Fortean View, writes on the propensity of humans to deny what’s literally in front of them, or in this case, above them:
