La jeune femme ne reconnut pas les signes mais promit au vieillard de consulter des spécialistes, à Sofia. Dès qu'elle saurait de quoi il s'agissait, elle lui transmettrait l'information. Mais, comme aucun des spécialistes rencontrés ne put identifier l'origine des mystérieux symboles, Krassimira oublia toute l'affaire.

The young girl did not recognize the signs, but promised the old man to consult specialists in Sofia. As soon as she knew what they meant, she would transmit the information to him.

Quelque temps après, une conversation avec sa tante lui rappela cette histoire. Elle en parla à Vanga en se plaignant de ce que toutes sortes de gens venaient l'importuner avec des futilités. Mais la vieille voyante lui répondit :

Some time afterwards, in conversation with her aunt, she told her this story. She spoke to Vanga, complaining that all sorts of people (came) bother us with their trivialities. But the old fortune teller told her :

Elle raconta alors à sa nièce la vision suivante : par une nuit très noire, une caravane venue du sud, du tout puissant royaume égyptien, s'arrêta en un endroit totalement sauvage (mais qui se trouve aujourd'hui à l'intérieur des frontières bulgares). Les esclaves de la caravane creusèrent une fosse très profonde à l'intérieur de laquelle fut déposé un lourd sarcophage de pierre.

She then told her niece the following vision: on a very dark night, a caravan from the south, the powerful kingdom of Egypt, stopped in a totally wild place (but which is today to be found within the interior borders of Bulgaria). The slaves of the caravan dug a deep pit within which was deposited a heavy stone sarcophagus.

Les esclaves furent ensuite massacrés sur le lieu de l'enfouissement, afin de garder son emplacement secret à jamais. Puis, les hauts dignitaires et les soldats s'éloignèrent en silence, sans que personne ne remarque leur passage.

The slaves were then massacred at the place of burial, to keep this location secret forever. Then the dignitaries and soldiers departed quietly, without being noticed by anyone.

Les parois internes de ce sarcophage sont couvertes des fameux symboles inconnus. Ils forment un texte racontant quatre mille ans de l'histoire de l'humanité. La première moitié de cette histoire - celle des deux mille dernières années - s'est déjà déroulée. L'autre moitié - celle des deux mille ans à venir - appartient encore au futur. Ce texte ne nous est pas destiné. Il s'adresse aux habitants de la Terre de demain.

The inner walls of the sarcophagus are covered with the noted but unrecognized symbols. They form a text telling four thousand years of human history. The first half of this story, that the (first) two thousand years, has already taken place. The other half (is) that of the two thousand years to come, still in the future. This text is not intended (for us).
It is intended for the future inhabitants of Earth.

Vanga died in 1996. There is now another character almost as important in Bulgaria, Vera Kochovska, but more a healer than a visionary. She was appointed the legitimate successor to Vanga by the Bulgarian Association of the Paranormal.
