Avatar: The Movie |
| Avatar gains a UFO Radio rating of 10/10 |
Avatar truly pulls on the heart strings at certain moments. The aliens are connected to nature and appear to be highly bonded to one another. The dramatic moments during the movie are hugely emotional and gave me shivers at certain stages. This was mainly apparent during a battle between the alien and the human forces, as Pandora is bombarded and innocents perish as a result. With dramatic music, the stunning visual effects and slow motion mixed together I truly felt sympathy for the inhabitants of Pandora. It was like for those two hours I became immersed in the stunning world of Pandora, and became connected just like the aliens and their connection to the natural world.
At the very end of the movie which closes on the blue face of the Avatar, whose eyes suddenly open which then results in a fade to black followed by the movie title appearing across the entire screen, I simply sat with my eyes wide open with a feeling of amazement at what I had just witnessed. Avatar is certainly one of the, if not the best movie of the year if not the entire decade.
For a visually stunning masterpiece Avatar gains a UFO Radio rating of 10/10
