I called the White House this morning (9:38 a.m. EST, Dec. 16, 2009) and asked the man who answered the phone if the President would soon be responding to my inquiry. The person was unable to help me and directed my call to an automated answering service, which caused me to end the call in frustration.
I called the White House again at 9:40 a.m. EST, but all circuits were busy.
At 9:42 a.m. EST I called yet again, and the man who I had talked to earlier said my questions would have to go through the comment office, which is where he had directed my call earlier. This is when I learned that, if I had not ended my earlier call so abruptly, I would have been afforded the opportunity to speak with an actual person.
At 9:49 a.m. EST, a kindly volunteer operator who would only give her first name, Susan, answered my call. I told her about the letter, and she said it would take a while to get a response, possibly six weeks. Regarding my efforts to seek UFO disclosure, Susan said, "All I can say is you did the right thing ... (because you) put it in writing."
I asked Susan if she could direct my call to the White House press office, but the best she could do was give me the number for the main switchboard, which I had initially called.
So, I again spoke with the same gentleman I had talked to earlier and he connected me to the White House Office of Media Affairs. The woman who answered by call at 9:54 a.m. EST told me that any questions I have for the article I'm putting together must be emailed to Media Affairs.
At 10:44 a.m. EST, I emailed the following letter:
In light of all the documented evidence accumulated since 1947 that clearly points to the reality that Earth is being visited by extraterrestrial beings, the time has come for the U.S. government to come clean on what it knows about this phenomenon. Being that you are the Commander-In-Chief of the United States of America, it is you who possesses the ability to disclose the fact that the government for years has made a concerted effort to keep what it knows about the Unidentified Flying Object and alien phenomenon a secret.
Simply put, there is an abundance of evidence available that points to a government cover-up of massive proportions. For anybody who has reviewed the evidence, it becomes painfully clear that there is an extraterrestrial presence on Earth and that a faction of the U.S. federal government has kept this information secret. Although it is understood that disclosure of the extraterrestrial reality in 1947 when the U.S. Army Air Forces recovered a flying saucer and alien bodies in the desert outside of Roswell, New Mexico would more than likely have caused a worldwide panic, such would not be the case today. A 2002 Roper poll indicated that 74 percent of Americans are psychologically prepared for proof of extraterrestrial life.
Through books, articles, motion pictures and television documentaries prepared by UFO researchers since the early 1950s, it is apparent that people from around the world have had real sightings of flying objects that exhibited technology that is beyond the technological prowess of humankind. These objects have been observed flying at speeds that would be considered impossible by the fastest jet aircrafts. These objects are also known to make extreme right angle turns and often times move through the sky without making any sound. Some witnesses have reported observing these craft land silently and humanoid beings exiting them.
Of more concern, some witnesses have reported being abducted by extraterrestrial beings and subjected to odd medical procedures. Many times memories of these abduction experiences are erased from victims’ minds and can only be recovered through hypnosis. Other times, abductees can remember the experience without the need for hypnosis.
In August 1994, a friend and I saw a flying object during a nighttime fishing excursion at Beech Mountain Lakes near Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The object had three large bright lights, hovered about two or three stories off the ground, made no sound and moved unlike any conventional aircraft. The object moved toward us from the southwest, stopped when it was nearly over our heads and then moved away in a westerly direction. It was the most astounding experience of my life. My friend and I were utterly flabbergasted, and to this day I am convinced that the craft was something manufactured on a planet other than Earth.
On occasion since 1947, top officials working for the federal government have indicated that UFOs are real. In a Sept. 23, 1947 memorandum, Air Force General Nathan Twining wrote, "The phenomenon reported is something real and not visionary or fictitious."
"There are objects approximately the shape of a disc, of such appreciable size as to appear to be as large as man-made aircraft," Twining wrote. "The reported operating characteristics, such as extreme rates of climb, maneuverability … must be considered evasive when sighted…. Some of the objects are controlled either manually, automatically or remotely."
Twining wrote that the common descriptions of the objects include a "metallic or light-reflecting surface … circular or elliptical in shape, flat on bottom and domed on top.
In a signed statement to the Congress in 1960, former CIA Director Vice Admiral Roscoe Hillenkoetter wrote that "it is time for the truth to be brought out … Behind the scenes high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about the UFOs, but through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense."
Information uncovered by UFO researchers, however, is where the evidence of the extraterrestrial reality lies. "UFOs and the National Security State: Chronology of a Cover-Up 1941-1973" and "UFOs and the National Security State: Volume Two 1973-1991," both written by historian Richard
M. Dolan, make it very clear that the government is hiding something from the public. If you have not yet read these books, I recommend you do. Other excellent books available that expose the obvious cover-up include "Flying Saucers and Science" by Stanton Friedman, "Need to Know: UFOs, the Military, and Intelligence," by Timothy Good, and "Witness to Roswell," by Thomas J. Carey and Donald R. Schmitt.
There are also a number of excellent books on the abduction phenomenon, including "The Allagash Abductions" by Raymond E. Fowler, "Captured: The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience" by Stanton Friedman and Kathleen Marden, "The Threat" by Dr. David M. Jacobs, and "Communion" by Whitley Strieber. There is no way an educated mind could walk away from the research contained in the aforementioned books and not realize that this planet is indeed being visited by extraterrestrials.
There will never be a good time to disclose the extraterrestrial reality to the public, but now would be as good a time as any to make the move. We’re already in an economic recession, and if disclosure is to have a negative impact on the economy like some believe it will, why wait until the economy is doing well to release the facts? Also, putting extraterrestrial disclosure on the backburner for additional years will only serve to further hurt the credibility of the federal government.
Most people believe extraterrestrials are here now. Why continue to withhold UFO data from the general public when polls indicate people are ready to accept the truth? Do what is right for the American people and tell us what you know about extraterrestrials.
