Received word from Mark A. Olson, D.M. that the UFOs were back in Sonora, CA. He writes that after weeks of rain, half dollar-sized snow, clouds and fog, the skies cleared enough to observe UFOs in the sky. The object in the photo appeared at 9:27 PM on January 14, 2005 over Lyons Bald Mountain. The object was observed by two witnesses as it changed shape, then disappeared. The rain is turning to snow on a blustery January morning, and all the men gathered in a parking lot here surely would prefer to be inside. Solving the Enigma of Kryptos

What does it say about the Central Intelligence Agency that its agents can crack the secret codes of enemy nations but can't unravel a coded sculpture sitting outside their cafeteria window? It says, perhaps, that artist Jim Sanborn, who created the cryptographic sculpture named Kryptos that sits on CIA grounds, could have a career in covert operations if he ever grows tired of stumping the experts.

Centuries' Old UFO Coin Remains Mystery

After decades of seeking possible answers about a mysterious UFO-like design on a 17th century French copper coin, a prominent numismatic expert says it remains just that: an unidentified flying object. After a half-century of research, the design has defied positive identification by the numismatic community. "It was made in the 1680s in France and the design on one side certainly looks like it could be a flying saucer in the clouds over the countryside," said Kenneth E. Bressett of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a former President of the 32,000-member American Numismatic Association and owner of the curious coin.
