Strange Red Light Over South Lexington Kentucy

I was sitting on my balcony around 9:00pm et yesterday looking at Facebook on my cell phone. I happened to notice a bright red glowing object in the sky about 70 degrees above the horizon. I watched it for a minute or so in awe. I sit out there every night because I am a smoker and that's where I smoke. I am use to seeing helicopters and airplanes in the night sky, but this was something I have never seen before. The object moved slowly due east. I set my android phone to camcorder and caught some of what I saw. The object vanished about 20 degrees above the horizon.
