Watch the trailer.

As with the two films before it, a family is aware of paranormal activity in their home and is documenting it all on video. If the trailer is really a good sampling of the entire film, looks like writers Christopher B. Landon and Oren Peli are pushing the scare tactic limits for a good thrill.

Those nasty ghosts seem to have more power in this film – pushing family members around and apparently treating an investigator like a hammer head as he gets bashed from his seat onto a table.

I recommend keeping the little ones home or prepare for a few late night nightmares. If the reality of paranormal activity was this violent – we’d all be in big trouble.

Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Shulman – the 2010 directing team from the film, Catfish.
