Another Triangle UFO Over Phoenix Area

A Phoenix, AZ, witness reports videotaping a triangle-shaped object with three green lights that "flew right over me," according to October 1, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
 
The witness was walking outside near home when the "object emerged from behind a mountain in North Mountain Preserve."
 
"At first I thought it was an airplane, but it was way too big, and moved very strangely," the witness stated. "I immediately ran and grabbed my camera from my house."
 

The witness was able to videotape the object with green lights as it moved overhead.

When the witness returned outside with camera in hand, one of the three lights had gone out, but the object had now changed directions and was flying overhead.
 
"It was completely silent, but seemed like a dark mass above me. It flew southwest and It seemed to fade into the distance before I saw a small flash and it was gone."
 
The witness included this video clip and this second video clip with the MUFON report, which was filed on October 1, 2011. The events occurred on September 30, 2011. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Note: the second video clip was attached to a second MUFON report (32247) from the same witness.

Arizona is a current UFO ALERT 3 rating, with a high number of UFO sightings nationally. Arizona had 39 reports in September 2011 - the 5th highest reporting state - while California had 86 UFO reports - the highest reporting state in the nation.
