Florida couple: ‘Gravity had no effect’ on low flying disc

A Florida couple report watching two red orbs in a “wave like pattern” that moved overhead revealing their “disc shape with about 15 or 20 red lights lining the edge,” according to September 14, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

“It looked like gravity had absolutely no affect on it,” the reporting witness stated. “It was completely silent. If it was a plane or helicopter we would have easily heard it, and I have never seen a plane or helicopter shaped like that before. We watched it as it got brighter and moved faster.”

The silent disc appeared not to be affected by gravity, as reported by two Florida witnesses.

The objects moved over a nearby highway and out of sight. The witness commented on how the object became brighter at certain points.

“It went over US 19, and after it got to the point to where my roof was blocking our view we ran out front. When we got there it disappeared. I’d like to note that every time it changed direction, it moved faster, or raised, it got brighter. Almost like the brightness was linked to its energy use.”

No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report, which was filed on September 14, 2011. The events occurred on September 13, 2011. The above quotes were edited for clarity.

US Route 19 is a north-south Florida route, ending in Memphis, Florida. [According to a Dateline NBC study, part of US 19 in Florida is the most dangerous road in the United States. A Highway Patrol test period beginning in 1998 and ending in 2003, as mandated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, showed the stretch of US 19 from Pasco County to Pinellas County to average approximately 52 deaths a year, or 262 deaths in the 5 year duration of the study. 100 of these deaths were pedestrian related making US 19 the #1 worst road to walk on in these two counties.
