I had been investigating UFOs for twenty-two years, but the sighting that completely changed my view of the phenomenon occurred at Lone Pine, California. My wife and I observed a UFO resting on a small grove of aspen trees. We had been attracted to the area by a terrifically bright light that was so intense we were unable to look directly at it.

Dave describes his sighting: On Sunday 10/08/08 I was taking some photo's of the castle ruins at Brigenorth and didn't notice anything unusual at the time but when I printed them out the following day it became clear that I had taken a photo of something travelling at speed which would explain why it appears blurred.

Cloud passing behind UFO by Dirk Vander Ploeg.
Kathy describes her sighting: I had just purchased a new telescopic lens for my camera, an EF 70-300mm, with Image Stabilizer, for a Canon EOS 400D, and went outside to test it out. I noticed to the side of a cloud a bright shiny object. I initially thought it was a plane, until I realized after watching for a while, I wasn't tracking it with the camera, it didn't get bigger or smaller, it just didn't move.

It was dark, and there was a snowstorm outside; mud was thick on the ground. Sharon was busy in the kitchen cooking dinner. James was sitting on the living room couch cleaning his rifle. He had it broken down into its various components, and was madly working away on it when suddenly the front door opened up. By the time he looked up, a man dressed in a blue military uniform had walked through the front door and right into the center of the living room. He paused and looked around inspecting the premises, then cupping his jaw, peered at James with a sideways glance.

Growing up, I cannot recall having ever heard anyone in my community speak of “aliens” or “Extraterrestrials”, though I did hear of distant relations and “Star People” living amongst the stars many times, mainly around campfires and during traditional ceremonies. Far from being anything to be feared, Star People was just another term I grew up around. The Snake Antelope ceremony of the Hopi is a very complex ceremony that incorporates both the ritual of the sacred marriage of the Goddess and the God and the symbolic rising of the kundalini. Kundalini is a Sanskrit word meaning either 'coiled up' or 'coiling like a snake.' Kundalini is a concentrated form of prana or life force, lying dormant in chakras in the body. The ancient Egyptians in their writings described that they had come "from the south, from a land across the Great Sea", a land which they called "Punt". Some have said "Punt" refers to ancient Somalia but this cannot be for several reasons.
