Sometimes the dreams we receive from her now contain images for other people. When she came through to M., she gave her a strong message that she should be working on her paintings. I took that one to heart for myself. M. and I both dreamed of Dana moving to a new place, in my case it was into a sci-fi décor dorm room. In both dreams Dana was right up in our faces, very close like when someone is looking right into the camera lens eye-to-eye – very unusual. We have seen her in dreams after group losses of life as when she appeared to me with the Virginia Tech students. Another time she came through after a tour bus accident near where she lived in Utah. When there are groups crossing over, she is there.
It has not been just dreams. Soon after she passed I was sitting on the bus. Someone was pounding on the seat beside me trying to get my attention. I was too tired to turn around to see what kid was jumping on the long row of connected seats. Finally in exasperation I turned around to confront whomever it was, but there was no one there! Another time I woke up in the dark with my eyes open. In front of me was a design, a vertical rectangle with an abstract pattern on it like a Navajo silver belt buckle set with peridot light green jewels into it. Somehow it was more like a circuit board and the jewels were functional, it was a very UFO-type of metal object and it was there whether my eyes were opened or closed. I knew that was from Dana. Of course there was the UFO sighting of Nov.11, 2007, I was thinking of her that whole time, especially when the lights followed my taxicab. The array of lights was very jaunty and reminded me of Dr. Seuss – that kind of impression.
“Remember the Silver”
It turns out that Dana`s first encounter occurred near Uinta, Utah near the Paranormal Corridor when she was young. Later up in Moab, Utah she observed a golden light above the town from the side of a mountain so that she saw it from an equal height. That light reminded me of the Phoenix lights because it was similar in color. She had a childhood friend, “Rowah”, who was a Lion-faced type of ET entity. (Those who have looked into the famous Mayan crystal skulls have seen these beings). Rowah had told Dana to “Remember the silver”. This signature phrase caused me to remember a paranormal experience from 1970 involving missing time in Phoenix and rapid rapping noise with paralysis. After that mysterious event, I had a dream of a man with a silver face and turquoise lights for eyes. He was on the sidewalk outside of my room. He told me that he was the reason that I had been having problems getting along with my family. I told Dana about him and she said that he might have been a robotic ET. My father had been a jet pilot and was very leery of anything UFO related. He had seen me observe a ball of white light following our car. That was the only time I had ever seen him show fear. Perhaps that is why my dad worried that I might have been involved with the phenomenon, which I was.
The Alphabet Mosaics
Dana Redfield’s Magnum Opus was her project on the alphabet, which she completed before her death. She called it “ALPHABETECH, the Alphabet Mosaics”. In my last dream about her, I saw her seated on a couch smiling, surrounded by her beloved alphabet letters. The letters were large and cartoon-like and they had eyes. It was very like the children’s` program “Sesame Street” where the letters are characters on the show.
