I received the following submission from Tony R. on Thursday, January 6, 2011. The photo below shows on object moving quickly right toward the sun on the far right of the photo.
The photo was taken by Tony R. on December 2, 2010 at approximately 3:00 pm. in the afternoon.
Tony said, “The pix shows the sun on the right and the strange light appears smaller and towards the center.
Tony took a number of photos. Here is a second one showing the “corona” of the object. Looks almost like a meteor. or a shooting star but the object is moving horizontally.
I have enlarged the object in the middle of the photo and inverted (reversed) the image to bring out more detail using Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
Tony works for a non-profit organization in Los Angeles that assists individuals with domestic violence issues as well as substance abuse.
Tony describes the incident, “I was outside decorating the courtyard for Christmas, when all of a sudden this light appears…it literally was not there! I was surprised and at first thought it was the sun, but if you see the pix, the sun is towards the right and the light stands alone in the center.”
