Jesus Wife and Da Vinci prophecy and Virgin on the Rocks

PIET_P~1.JPG

News of a ancient papyrus has been announced by Karen King of Oxford called “The Gospel of Jesus Wife.” A great deal of discussion about  the idea that Jesus had a wife in the media. The papyrus doesn’t stop there it goes farther by stating Jesus said that she could be a disicple. We know that Jesus taught Mary of Bethany that is in the Bible.  We have the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and Gospel of Phillip that discusses and gives insights to early christianity’s discussion on  Magdalene’s position in the early church.

Luke 10:38-42

She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”

41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

The fact that Mary is seated at the Lord’s feet is said by some to be a place of a disciple. The papyrus has opened the discussion on celibacy in the church and women of the church having a voice in the leadership. We know from the Bible  that Peter was married . One wonders did Peter’s wife have children?  We know that women were taught and cured by Christ as well as supported his ministry. The discussion  came up in the early years of Christianity from the discovery of the Nag Hammadi Scrolls. The papyrus of Karen King is still being tested for authenticity but while we wait the discussion of these questions are getting explored. I have written in the past that certain artists like Da Vinci may have reflected in their paintings this discussion. Michaelangelo painted the Collona Pieta for Victoria Collonna.  Michaelangelo wrote love poems too her and they were great friends. She was out to reform the church. The corruption of the church was great during this time. The Borgias and Medici families reigned as Popes. In Michaelangelo’s Collona Pieta one sees a woman holding Christ between her legs while being held up by the arms by two children. A viewer of the painting may think the children are cherubs but they have no wings. It is interesting that Michaelangelo included young children in his Pieta. On the woman’s heart is an angel cherub. Michaelangelo did another Pieta before he died.

It consists of Nicodemus (Joseph Arimathea), Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, and Jesus. Mary Magdalene takes a special place in the Pieta on her head is a headband with an angel on it. It is similiar to the Collona Pieta Mother who has the same symbol over her heart. The heart symbol is placed on Magdalene by Michaelangelo so is Michaelangelo by placing the same symbol of the angel over the heart of the woman with two children Mary Magdalene? I just wonder after the Karen King announcement. Poussin and Bourdon artists have in their paintings of the death of Christ  also children or just one  child. One wonders who these children or child are? Why does children come up because if one is married then children often follow.

The artists may have known that someday the discussion of a Holy Family was going to come up and women’s role in early Christiantiy.

In Konigsee Germany, vacation home of the Bavarian kings a picture was found at the Bartholma Church. The station of the cross is thirteen. The number thirteen is the day the Templars were arrested in France. In the picture is Mother Mary holding Jesus and next to her is a woman angel and little child angel. I have never seen anything like it and one wonders who this woman angel is and child angel?

Da Vinci painted the Last Supper which some have said that the person sitting next to Jesus is a woman and not a male. It was almost prophetic that in the year 2012 we would be talking about Jesus wife and possible disciple. Da Vinci seems to have had a crystal ball. He did have visions and one of them was about a Great Deluge which would destroy civilization. His sketches of the great storm are in the museum. The Madonna of the Rocks or Virgin of the Rocks is also prophetic in its title. We have the vision of the Virgin of the Grotto (Rocks) at Lourdes by Saint Bernadette.

Millions of people come to Lourdes France to drink from the healing waters. Da Vinci painted the Virgin of the Rock.

The picture shows the rocks, water, a cave or grotto, John the Baptist, Jesus, Archangel Uriel, and the Virgin. A theme through out is the Immaculate Conception. It is fascinating that Da Vinci places this in his art  because at Lourdes the Virgin of the Rocks tells Bernadette that she is the Immaculate Conception. Our Lady appearances have happened all over the world at Knock Ireland, Guadalupe, and Fatima just to name a few. The Archangel Uriel is known as the angel with the flaming sword and this angel is seen in the release of the Third Prophecy of Fatima. The Third Secret of Fatima was seein the year 1917 but was not released till the year 2000.

The Third Secret of Fatima

At the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’. And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father’. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.

Cardinal Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI)

“No great mystery is revealed; nor is the future unveiled.”

but he also wrote this

Cardinal Ratzinger in his Theological Commentary in The Message of Fatima:

The angel with the flaming sword on the left of the Mother of God recalls similar images in the Book of Revelation. This represents the threat of judgement which looms over the world. Today the prospect that the world might be reduced to ashes by a sea of fire no longer seems pure fantasy: man himself, with his inventions, has forged the flaming sword…

The Cardinal refers to Revelations but missed the reference to Genesis.

In these days of 2012 we have seen corruption in Rome and the angel with the flaming sword guards the gates of Eden where the Tree of Life resides. The Tree of Life is in danger when one thinks of the genetic modified seeds that are taking over the crops of the world and the latest study that came out in France of the dangers of tampering with seed DNA. DNA is the Tree of Life and with bioengineering, bioterrorism,HAARP and cloning of humans has man gone to far and is endangering the planet Earth.

Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
(Gen 3:22-24)

The timing of the announcement of the papyrus which has written Jesus wife is interesting and I await the results to help verify its authenticity.  In Revelations John talks about the Bride mutiple times and so the revelation of Jesus wife written on the papyrus is interesting.

One example

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. [Revelation 19:7]

Is it a coincidence or is it all connected?
